Cynthia (Cindie) grew up in Anaheim and attended Loara Elementary, Ball Jr. High School and Loara High School. She was active in many of the local activities: Halloween parades, carnivals, haunted houses, Girl Scouts and the Anaheim YMCA.
She was introduced to real estate and investing at a young age when her parents purchased 12 apartment units in Anaheim. The family spent many evenings after school, weekends, and summers fixing up the apartments. As her parents purchased additional apartments she continued to assist them in their real estate endeavors. When she was home from college during the summer she continued assisting her parents creating and delivering real estate flyers and helping prepare homes to put on the market -thus, the seed was sown.
After college, she started her career at American Savings in accounting and then worked with the loan work-out department assisting homeowners drafting Forbearance Agreements. After spending approximately 7-8 years with American Savings she joined her mother as her partner selling real estate. After working with her for several years, Cindie was approached by a real estate and probate attorney and CPA to come work for them and continued working there for the next 17 years as a real estate paralegal. Wanting to spend more time with her family she took time off however, she continued assisting and creating marketing materials for her mother part-time.
In 1982, while previewing properties with her parents, her dad talked her into purchasing her first home, a fixer in Anaheim- and boy was it a fixer!! However, after assisting her parents with their rentals she felt she was well ahead of the game. Her dad convinced her that she could do most of the work herself to save money, so painting, sanding, and other minor repair work became the norm. During this rehab, Cindie also learned that by "Trial and Error" -some things are best left to a professional that knows what he is doing!
Within a year she had the opportunity to purchase another fixer in Anaheim. She's not afraid of hard work and when working with clients to put their homes on the market, she can be a true asset in guiding them through the real estate process.
In 2024, she returned to real estate and became her mother's transaction coordinator, then in 2025, she renewed her real estate license and once again joined her mother in selling real estate.
